As summer is almost 2/3's over we take a look at the active available inventory of homes here in Shasta County as see that the inventory is still high- 2150. With foreclosures on the up tick and the high inventory available not to mention that interest was creeping up it may be a very good time to purchase.

If they won't work with you as a buyer find someone who will. Most sellers have finally figured out that this is NOT the market of a year or two ago. Sure there are some sellers out there that list high and don't really care if they sell or not. There will always be some of the those. There are also the ones that have lost a job and are getting divorced etc that really need to sell. These sellers will be much more motivated to sell and work with you...I guarantee it!
Does this mean you are going to get a home priced at $699,000 for $499,000? NO but it does mean that there are some tremendous opportunities out there to make a great deal. And if you don't get %15% off but love the home you still have won as you can't put a price on a home that you absolutely love and will fit your needs perfectly.
